Is there a freeware generic driver for a flash drive which will work
under Win98SE and USB 1.0. If there is can you tell me where to find
it?

TIA

AFAIR there is no general one. You have just search for a driver for your
USB stick on the manufacturer site.

I'm with Gregory - just about every manufacturer I've seen has freely
downloadable drivers on their web pages...

I have de-installed the original drivers for an usb flashdrive and an usb
cardreader which interfered with each other, and installed again with the
new one.
Works fine here.

Thank you very much. This generic driver worked perfectly on 98SE.
