Hi all,
Just had a look at my comp today and thought, i need to find a decent
application launcher or toolbar to keep my desktop clear - but make the
programs easily accessible. Any suggestions for freeware programs that
could fit the bill?. And backup programs as well?

Thanks
Nigel.

RUNit (38 KB)

RUNit is a simple but yet powerful launchpad for Win95/98 and NT(4.0
and above).
RUNit gives you quick access to applications, documents, folders and
shortcuts.
Unlike many other launchpads RUNit doesn't occupy any space on your
screen
- you only see it when you actually use it.

Slick Run can be used to launch a single application or a series of
applications. http://www.bayden.com/
And backup programs as well?

I use Replicator on a daily basis.

Out of curiousity, why not just make your own toolbar? I have a 1/3-inch
thick toolbar running across the top of my desktop with 46 icon shortcuts
and room for more. The only icons I have on my desktop outside of this
toolbar are My Computer, My Docs, and Recycle Bin.

Just a suggestion of another possibility.

And I'm with George on Karen's Replicator for back-up programs.
