Freeware alternative to OverZip

Hi, I'm looking for a freeware alternative to OverZip
(www.overzip.com). This is NOT a zip packer, this is a compression
utility for already packed files (7-zip, WinRAR, WinZip, etc.).

Is there any real, demonstrated advantage to using such a utility? It seems
to me that any
gain would not be worth the effort.

<quote>
OverZip attempts to compress packed files (ZIP, RAR, etc.) even more
using special compression algorithm.

Why?
7-zip and RAR are the best compressors out there.
You can also use the operating system compression with Windows XP.

But i don't see any advantage in doing that over already compressed ZIP,
RAR and 7zip files.

Sounds like Overkill to me!

But seriously, good luck in your search.

OverZIP demonstrates its real advantages when using on huge
ZIP files (backups, distribution packages, etc.).
I really saw very impressive compression myself.
