freeing memory so regristry is unloaded

I can not get my information to unload. I have a warning that the application
or service was still using regristry during log off memory not freed. How do
I get this to close so my downloads will start.

I don't really understand your problem from the information you gave but if
you hold down the contol/alt/delete buttons, this will bring up the task
manager and you will be able to close any offending program that keeps you
from shutting down Windows.
