i have xp pro clients on my network.Do any of you know of any free utilities
to download that i can use to surface scan my hard drives and check them for
errors. IT will help me alot in my work. thanks

1. Determine the brand(s) of your hard drives
2. Visit the manufacturer(s) website(s) for those drives
3. Download the appropriate hard-drive diagnostic utilities
4. Run the utilities
