Any free SMS sites, apart from cbfsms.com which seems to be fine first text,
but try sending any more and i keep getting the message 'an error occurred,
please wait x minutes'.

Preferably free sites where i dont have to register (dont mind pop-ups too
much).

Cheers

Just wondering whether youve thought of using ICQ ?I used it for sms a
year or so ago and it worked quite well.

It may be worth checkin with someone who has ICQ (i dont use it now) that
the network that you will be sending sms too is supported.I used it in uk
to orange and vodaphone and it worked fine then anyway.

I found ICQ to be very unreliable for sending sms, saying messages had
been sent when they hadn't been.
It worked ok for me when i used it.It was actually more like 2 years ago
, so im not entirely sure if things have got better or worse since
then.Hopefully a poster who uses ICQ at present , may be able to clarify.

just tried it with o2 in UK - no joy - their list of supported
networks seems to be US/Canada and one or two others -the web site
seemed to not show any others for me anyway

It was several years ago for me also; who needs ICQ when there is
Miranda? :)

(minus the annoying ad box).It has all i need now the advertising box has
been removed.
