free pdf to word convertor?

There are a number of free trials of utilities to convert pdf files so they
can be opened in Word, but are there any really free ones available?

Is there an add-on that would permit MS Word 2002 to open a pdf file?

Did you try doing a Save As Text in Reader?

I particularly like PDF995 but that costs a whole $9.95. It works bothways.

Word can do this (after a fashion) without additional software.
Re-run office setup and add Microsoft Office Document Imaging (if you have
not already done so). Open the PDF reader and 'print' to the MODI driver.
Use the OCR in MODI to send the text to Word.
