Does anyone know of a good site for a complete computer novice to get some
free tutorials online. They will be able to take some lessons later but I
thought there might be a website with enough information to start them off
and keep their interest up.

TIA

Tutorials on what? Try a google search. www.google.com

I guess it would have to be Windows XP tutorials, I had already googled but
couldn't find any basic stuff but I will try again. Thanks B.W.

Ok, sorry I don't know of any to recommend.

Not exactly tutorials, but Hewlett Packard has excellent online
courses. All are FREE! I took several of these courses including
Data Center Management, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PC Troubleshooting,
C++, Java, Linux, Scanning, and Networking. There are quite a few
Windows courses too. HP does this to try to sell their hardware but
there is no need to buy. Check it out!

Open Help and Support from your Start Menu.

Click on anything under Pick a Help topic and look around a little.

You'd be surprised as to how much info there is in Help and Support. I use
it all of time.

The people concerned have done as suggested using Help and Support and I
suggested they started working with Files and Folders and apparently it has
got them started on the road. Thanks very much for the idea.

Tell them to have fun. ;-)
