Free Mpeg Cutter?

Hi,
i am finding one freeware which could allow me to cut away some part of one
mpeg1 (vcd) file, as i recorded some tv programs to vcd by my dvdrecorder
but there are some commercials between these vcds recorded so i want to find
one simple and fast mpeg or vcd cutter for this purpose.
i tried some softwares namely, ordix mpack pro and vcd cutter ,these
software nearly satisfiy my need but they are all commercial ones.
So i just wonder is there any freeware also ?
