Free memory

I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 running XP, 256meg of ram and
when evere I check my system resources I see less than
100meg of ram available.
In the task manager I see 30 or more processes running.
How can I free up my memory, are all the processes showing
in the task manager needed?
 
29 Processes is certainly not excessive and you have 100MB of free memory.

Whats the problem ?

Like Paul says, you don't have a problem. The 100MB free is that windows can
find anything to do with it, so buying more...no point. Have a good one.
