free back up programs

can any of yall suggest a free data back up program, to put back up and files
and such on cd's. i know there are some free programs out there, was
wondering if any are decent and can be trusted to work, thanks

Aside from the actual program itself, I've had so many problems using CDs as
backup media that I now use an external HDD. Never any problems. I never
want to see a CD again!
