Free Adaware vs. Pay version

Are there any significant advantages to getting one of the pay versions of
Adaware? It would be nice if it could run automatically in the background
at pre-selected times.
 
I am speaking only about the Ad-Aware brand. They make 3 versions:

Ad-Aware Personal Edition - Freeware
Ad-Aware Plus - $26.95
Ad-Aware Professional - $39.95

In am trying to get a comparison to see if it is worth it to pay for one of
the upgrades.

The free version lacks user controls. But it will do you just fine. No need
to buy.
