I've been using the Front Page Editor for some time now.
Previously, I used Front Page Express. Now I want to
expand into the frames arena, but don't have Front Page
setup... how can I start using frames with just the
editor? I try to use the Frames Wizard, but get all this
Front Page Web stuff in error; which is appropriate
because I didn't set any of it up. What can I do and how
is it done? Thanx!

Why do you want to use frames?
IMO they are way more trouble than they are worth.

I completely disagree. A site can take significant advantage
of framing to maximize the organization of the files. IMO, it's most
unfortunate that frames have a bad rep. When combined with stylesheets
they can really speed up the loading of a site by minimizing
redundancy.

Thanx for the lively discussion on the pros and cons of
frames, but how does that answer the question and help a
poor dummy like me? ;-)

What was the original question?

If you are using FP98, then you must open a web first via FPExplorer, then you can open FPEditor.
They were not meant to be use individually.

So, if I understand correctly, if I set it up right, I
guess it would be working correctly. Uninstall, reinstall?

BTW, I have my "site" on my machine, but I then FTP it to
my AOL member account space.

If you use FP98 correctly, which is that you use FPExplorer to open the web via http://localhost
(FP98 was designed to be used with a web server), then use FPEditor to create on open existing page,
etc.
