Frames Do Not Display Properly

On one user's computer the configuration page (non-editable, on the printer)
for one of our printers does not display properly. It's for a Konica
2490MFP. The config page uses frames and the top frames appear squished. As
a result, some of the links do not appear and a scroll bar does not appear
as well, making it difficult to navigate.

This page works fine on every single other machine I tried it on, including
different versions of IE and Firefox. I believe it is a browser setting or
something wrong with the browser but I'm not sure what exactly.

Anyone ever see this behavior and know a way to fix it?

Thank you.

Hi Dan,

This may be a wild guess, but check your users Internet Options settings for
Colors (General tab - Colors button), making sure they are not using
conflicting foreground and background colors. This is just a guess that
maybe they have chosen a color scheme (either a desktop theme or internet
color settings) that conflict with the configuration page's hardwired values
and that the links and scrollbars do not appear because they are the same
color as the page background.
Oh, also check in Internet Options - General tab - Accesibility button , if
they are using a User Stylesheet. It may be conflicting with the rendered
frame also.
Regards.

Unfortunately these steps did not work. Would this require a reinstallation
of IE?

You haven't yet given us any version information for either IE or your OS.
Since you are posting in an IE6 NG we can infer than it is some version
of it but without also knowing your OS we cannot advise what procedures
may be possible. E.g. if your OS is XPsp2 you cannot reinstall IE.

Yes, it is for Internet Explorer 6 (hence this newsgroup) and yes there are
ways to reinstall IE 6 in Windows XP. The problem may be solved with IE7 but
I'm not sure if it worked as the printer is now off site.
