Frames - Banner-content-main template

I have created a site using this template, with hyperlinks in the banner to
select the contents frame and hyperlinks in the contents to select the main
frame. Just a fairly typical arrangement. However, when I select a link in
the banner, the content frame changes correctly but the main frame stays on
the same page - until I click a link in the new contents frame. You may say
that's what it's meant to do...

But I would like to be able to click a link in the banner and have the
contents and main frames change together - the main frame showing the
default for that particular contents. Is there a way to do this?

there is. it's a JavaScript that does it.
I found it on, I think, www.echoecho.com but I could be wrong.
