Can anyone help, I am having a problem with frames being
put around a Word table. I am using Word 2002.

Does anyone know why or how I can stop it?

Thanks

David

Frames or borders. If the latter, press Ctrl+Alt+U.

Thanks for this as I wanted the shortcut for this..
But it's not really what I had in mind.

I am not trying to get rid of the boaders within the
table but that word is putting a frame around the table
without me asking it to. This then plays merry hell with
the allowing me to split the table , select rows etc.
What I am after is why word is putting this frame around
it and how to stop it.

Thanks

David

If you wrap a table, the effect is much like inserting it in a frame. It's
all too easy to do this if you work in Page Layout view: if you accidentally
click on the table handle (top left corner) and nudge it even slightly, the
table becomes wrapped. To reverse this, go to Table | Properties: Table and
change the wrapping to None.

Thank you so much for this. It was just what I was
looking for.

Thanks
