Fragmented Pagefile

Mij pagefile showed up as 2 'blocks' in Norton Speed Disk. So, I set the
Pagefile to 0 MB, restart the computer and run the defrag (Speed
Disk)program. When I re-install the Pagefile it shows up again in 2 blocks.
Until now it was only one ,block', is there something wrong?

My guess is that you have not deleted the pagefile.
After defrag, the starting point of pagefile.sys has
already been set, therefore, reinstalling pagefile will
start the same place, but not have room, therefore
creating an additional block.

so back to setting size to 0, but the deleting the file,
before defrag. After defrag create a new pagefile.

Are you running fat32 ?
booting in "dos mode" is another option.
copy pagefile.sys to a new file, renaming the old one (do
not delete it), and then renema the new file to
pagefile.sys. This wil relocate the file to a position on
the harddisk, which might have only one block.
