FP2003 Play Movie in Flash Format...can the default be changed?

It would seem the default setting in FP2003 is not to show Flash Movie
content in the Design view. This is different than previous versions. I
guess I could see how some people might prefer this but I use Flash swfs for
many elements of each web page. I want the default setting to be to always
show the Flash content. Instead I must right-click and choose "Play movie in
Flash format" from the context menu in order to see the Flash content.

Searching through Help turned up nothing.

Anyone know a way to change the default behavior back to the way it was in
previous versions? It will be nice to be able to selectively turn off some
of the SWFs in Design view but I don't want to have to waste time turning
them all on each page I open up.

Thanks,
Mark

You can get " Flasher "
From Jimco add-ins it is FREE
http://www.jimcoaddins.com/addins.aspx
FrontPage versions supported: 2000 / 2002 / 2003
Easily add and configure Flash movies (swf files) in FrontPage. All the options you get in
Flash are now available right within FrontPage!

Thanks for your offer of help, DI, but this does not have anything to do
with what I am talking about. Actually FP 2003 has added all the same
functionality of the "Flasher" addin and "Flasher" really has little value
for someone with FP 2003. What I am talking about is that the default mode
in Design View is to show only a placeholder for a Flash Movie instead of
the actual Flash Movie. You can right click on it and tell it to play the
movie instead of showing only a placehold but I sometimes have up to ten
separate Flash Movies in my pages that I have to then click on and turn on
so I can see my overall design. That's a pain. I'm going to start digging
through the registry and any config files I can find to try to solve this.

You are right about the the functionality being included in FP2003.

The option to play the movie doesn't actually change a Registry value or
file value. It just causes FrontPage to access the Flash ActiveX control
and start playing the movie. If you close the file and reopen it, the movie
will again display as a placeholder.
