FP2002 - "sudden" problem uploading my site

Hello - I've used FP2000 and then 2002 for the last couple of years
maintaining my site. However, last night I attempted to make some
maintenance updates, it would not successfully log in to my account
(Time-Warner Roadrunner). It kept prompting me for userid/password. Yet,
if I open a command window on the system and ftp into my account manually,
it accepts the userid and password. I turned off my firewall (Norton
Internet Security) - no improvement. I ran the "detect and repair" utility
for FP with no help. Any suggestions of what might be causing this?

I've uncovered the problem but have not identified exactly what it is. I
went back and recovered the last set of quarantined items from AdAware
spyware software, and it started working. Obviously, I blindly quarantined
something that affected the FrontPage FTP software. If I have time, I will
re-run AdAware and see what it is point to that should not be removed.
