FP2002 Hit Counter won't reset

Can't get my hit counter to reset. I can get it to work but it always starts
from 1. I am trying to get rid of the outside counter I am now using and set
up a test page http://nomad313.tripod.com/nomads1.htm . I have gone through
most of the previous comments made but to with no luck. Need advice.

Have you open the site live in FP and removed and re-inserted the counter? If yes, have you
contacted the host as it would then appears the permissions for writing are not set correctly on the
_private folder.

Open the live page on the server in FrontPage and reset the count there.

It showed as 5 when I viewed it.

I Had already opened it with fp edited the page removed the counter saved
added the counter and rest the counter to 125 to see if it would take and it
did not. I will try and contact the host and check for the permissions.
