FP Publishing

I have tried several time's to do a full publish and every time I receive a
time out error. I also, have a page in my web that is a Search page that
will not work, keeps displaying an error.
The is: Error from search: can't open the word hash file
d:\hosting\stevesgi\_vti_txt\default.wti\All.dct
Please help.

I forgot to mention that I am runing Windows XP SP2, with FrontPage 2002. I
also, use the FP Cleaner, did not work. All FP Updates are up to date.
Cleaned everything that I could think of. I tried to publish tonight after 4
hours it said timed out.

Hi Linda,

A few things to look at:

Have you been using ftp at all to transfer files? If so you might have
corrupted the FrontPage extensions. They might need to be reinstalled.

Also try running a Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks on your web.

There might be a different problem as well with the hosting site...that is
causing the long delay and timeout issue. Please ask your host to look at
that as well.

I contacted my web server and they said that it was probably my ISP settings
but, I do not have dial up I have DSL with Verizon. How could the timed out
be with Verizon. On my LAN settings I have detect my conection. With the
timed out going on all the time I am losing my borders when this happens.
