FP includes in Web Expressions

I read in another thread how to create an include (through a workaround
process) in Web Expressions. But how about the includes already built into my
current FP web sites? If I make the switch to Web Expressions, what happens
to my FP includes? And, if Web Expressions does, technically, accept my
includes without modification, will it handle the includes gracefully, or
will it be awkward and untenable? In other words, will I regret migrating to
Web Expressions?

Microsoft Expression will support existing FrontPage server extensions.

I just flew in from Chicago with
a man with a wooden leg named Smith
who shot an elephant in my pajamas.
So I bit him.

I use FrontPage includes extensively in Expressions Web, and there are
no problems at all with new includes, or existing ones.
The only missing item from the right-click menu is Include Properties -
but double clicking (or ALT+Enter) the include brings up the properties
dialogue.

In my opinion, the Code snippet workaround is easier to use than the
FrontPAge insert dialogues, or a toolbar button in FrontPage.

I just read a post by wise Cheryl on the expression newsgroup that an
add-in is planned for Expression that will do the design-time
includes.

Includes do not require FP server extensions. ;-)

Not a run-time, but at design-time they do. :)

I beg to differ. Includes do not require extensions at design-time. Been
doing it with disk-based webs for years.

Show me where it says otherwise.

You are still using the design-time extension when working in a disk-based web.

Yes. Open a disk-based web, then Tools | Web / Site Settings
