FP as default HTML editor--newbie question

Hello--newbie here. Just installed FP 2003. Pop-up asked if I wanted to make
FP my default HTML editor. Uh, I clicked yes. Oh dear. Next pop-up (which
disappeared before I could completely grok it) said something like "you've
got some default settings enabled that will make your system unstable." I've
searched help for Outlook, Word and FrontPage to see how to turn FP off as
my default HTML editor but no info anywhere. Can anyone help with this? Or
is it perhaps a non-problem? Many thanks.

Sounds like some other program was complaining about the change
In FP Tools Options General you can set FP as the default html editor for html and Office files by unselecting the last 2 options
under Startup
