Bug?

Attempting to copy-and-paste text to create a hyperlink am unable to use the
right-mouse button to call up the menu dialog in order to "paste" into the
address field.

Is MS aware of this? Fix?

Click inside the hyperlink box and then press Ctrl+V

I understand there are alternatives - if I'm feeling *really* clever I can
hit SHIFT - INSERT, too. The point is that right-mouse no longer does what
it used to do - call up the cut and paste menu so that I do this without
taking my hand off of the mouse. Worked fine in previous versions. Is
especially handy for inserting hyperlinks.

Why doesn't this work anymore?

That change occurred in FP2002 (and FP2003)
The dialogs now use the std MS Office File dialogs which don't allow that feature
