FP 2003/fp extensions?

ASP and ASP.net do not use the FP extensions. You would have to write your own custom ASP Form
handler to process the database updates and to send any email.

I assue the photo gallery uses the extensions, is there an

If the forms are now posting to the databases with asp.net,
I used the database interface wizard, are they doing it
without the extensions. Thanks

The photo gallery is JavaScript based and not depending on any run-time extensions

Yes, on the live/remote server, however the extensions are need if you want to make changes to the
DRW.

You don't want to be free of the design time extensions or the ability to publish and manage your
content with FP.

What are design time extensions and I thought Microsoft is

The design-time extensions are those use by your FP client to manage your web site, add navigation,
shared borders, DWTs, Recalculate Hyperlinks, Publishing, etc.

Run-time are for forms and few other items.
