FP 2003 - Form not producing results web page.

I've created 2 forms using the forms wizard in frontpage 2003. The wizard says it will created a page (.htm, .html) with the results of what users have filled out in the form, however it isn't producing the page it says or any and just forwards my IE browser to the following web page : http://24hourtek.no-ip.com/form/--WEBBOT-SELF--

Are you sure that the FP Server Extensions are installed? This is usually
the behavior that you see when they aren't. Also, make sure that when you
publsih them to a server you are using http and not FTP to publish.

Those are Publisher 2003 generated pages "published" or FTP'd to a server w/o the FP SE

When I check my Windows 2000 server add/remove windows component's, IIS properties, it says I have frontpage 2000 Server Extensions box checked which to me means its loaded i think. Maybe not configured?

OK, form\index2 is using a C: drive file path ...

C:\Documents and
Settings\lwood\Desktop\form\_private\formrslt.htm

If the extensions are in place, you could get by with
simply _private\formrslt.htm

In addition, the setting for file is HTML definition list.
You might want to try HTML.

form\index appears to be set to Send to other:
Untic this and select Send to: to set up email and
optional file.

Additionally, I wouldn't place the form in a folder.
Better to place it in the root web so the extensions can
more effectively act on it.

Thank You so much, its working great now a little diffrent than I expected. I was hoping it would create a webpage that I could link to with the data saved but doesn't seem to save it in a linkable page to display what was filled out in the form. Is it possible for it to do that

Wait it is making a page in /_private/ that isn't visible to link to cause it appears the folder is in hidden mode, what is the best way to change this to a page with information I can update occasioanly and add a notes area to bottom that is also updatable

Its currently saving to http://24hourtek.no-ip.com/_private/firewall.htm that is the file name i told it to with the form wizard.

If the htm file is for your exes only, which it should be
with confidential user info in the fields, then you can
open your site live, open private and view the htm file.
Correct me if this isn't what you wanted to know.

Personally, I prefer results going to .txt file.

I think i'll try playing with both solutions, it displays the information realy nicely in html format i just need to move the file out and may have to have a manual updating process Thank You
