Fp 2002 Server Extensions

I am using XP Pro and installed the 2002 FP extensions. How can I tell if
they are connected and working.. At present when I try and create a form,
the 'send todatabase' option is greyed out. This makes me think that they
are not

Can you open the website in FrontPage using http://localhost ?
If so, the extensions are installed and working sufficiently to allow
you to open the site in FrontPage.

In FrontPage 2003, go to Tools->Page Options - Authoring tag, and
ensure the box labelled
"Active Server Pages" is ticked.
Earlier versions of FP - Tools->Page Options - Compatiblity tag,
check the same box.

Thanks for the tip. I have checked that option and it is ticked, so they
must be working. The "send to database' option still has me puzzled. Any
thoughts?

Yes I can confirm that web site is open. I have reinstalled Frontpage 2003
but I still cannot find the "database Interface results wizard). should this
be part of a complete install?
