FP 2002 Cannot edit template photo gallery

I have used the photo gallery template and added 15 photos with captions.
They show up in the browser OK and work fine, but do not show up in the
preview view on FP 2002. When i double click the gallery of photos (in FP)
the edit box comes up and says I have no photos in the gallery? HTML looks
Ok but i am no expert - it points to the file with the photos in it. When I
highlight the photos in FP it puts a mini window to say 'photo gallery' but
when I double click it says it is empty and i can't edit anything. Any
suggestions? - Thanks.

You need to use File Menu | Preview in Browser.

You said Preview in FP which has nothing to do with editing. However, to edit you have use the Photo
Gallery dialog or create a new one.

Once you've edited something, some people use the preview to see what it
looks like? I, like yourself, I prefer to view it in a real browser. The
point I am making is that i cannot edit the photogallery - and whilst it
still shows up in the browser, it doesn't in preview. Its merely an
observation. I thought maybe I had saved the page incorrectly and this was
preventing me from editing it but the simple fact is, when the gallery editor
opens its shows no photos in there to edit? despite the browser and FP
showing them as existing (even if it doesn't show up in preview). Having
read previous correspondance i am coming to the conclusion that this is a bug
and I can only hope that Microsoft are getting the message that their product
doesn't work very well - even though, people are still having problems with
FP 2003 photo gallery. As ever, I will have to look for a microsoft work
around.
