found way to empty junkmail folder

I've been unable to delete emails from my junk mail folder. I just dicovered
if I right click on junk email folder and select "Empty junk mail folder"
then click ok it will delete one message at a time. It's not the fastest
method in the world but at least I can empty it. I wasn't able to delete them
at all the regular way, I kept getting an "unknown error occured" message
before. Maybe this will work for those of you who are having problems
deleting emails from other folders. Hope this helps!

I wish it and Outlook had a setting to empty the Junk E-mail folder after a
certain number of days that can be selectively set by the user.

You can empty your junk e-mail folder by selecting one item, them pressing
<CTRL> A to select them all and then pressing <SHIFT> DELETE.

Fred P. had the one and only solution to deleting junk mail fast. For me,
it wiped out all 503 that were piled up waiting for me to get rid of one at a
time. This method worked in one fell swoop. Thanks everso.

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
should be uninstalled.

I also had that problem. Found that if I right click on the Junk Mail
Folder and Click on Empty Junk Mail Folder. Works everytime.
