The found new hardware wizard pops up when I start the computer. I have not
installed any new hardware. I thought this happened after I updated Itunes
but my husband said he had seen this for a few days before. The first
message is .Net Runtime Optimization Service v2.050727_X86. then comes one
for ipod service. I have never connected an ipod but do download music from
itunes. Today I downloaded Stopzilla and later uninstalled it but I now get
a found new hardware for stopzilla service. Help please as this is driving
me nuts because I have to get these to go away everytime I start the
computer. I know if I don't shut down I won't have to restart and thus
problem solved. no, that is just hiding the symptom.

Thanks

Try this:

1. Restart your computer.
2. When the "New Hardware Found" popup comes up, do not click Cancel.
3. Answer all the question while clicking Next and in the end there will be
an option something like "Donot ask me to install the drivers".
4. Make a check mark and click Finish.

Hope this solve the problem, let us know!

That finally worked to keep the found New Hardware Wizard from showing up.
In the Device Manager I have a yellow question mark for Other Devices.
Under that are the three items that kept showing up in the Found New
Hardware. They each have a yellow question mark/exclamation mark. I can
uninstall it or disable it. Guess I'll try it and see what happens.

Disabling the uninstall devices are ok but if you will uninstall them then it
will again start showing you "New Hardware Found Wizard".

Hope this help, let us know!
