Forwarding a single mail as an attachment

H

Hari

Hi,

If I select more than one mail and hit forward button then they get
created as attachments.

I want to have the abilty to send a singe mail as an attachemnt. When I
select a single mail and forward then it gets created as inline mail.
Many of the times this inline view is good but again, sometimes I would
like to make it as an attachment but dont know how to do it.

Iam presently doing it in a circuitous manner whereby I select my
target mail and one extra unneeded mail and forward it and then in the
newly created mail I delete the attachment of unneeded mail.

Is there an easy way?

Lots of methods;
-Open the current mail and choose Actions-> Forward as Attachment
-Create a new mail and drag & drop
-Create a new mail and choose Insert-> Item
-Change the default FOrward handler in Tools-> Options-> E-mail Options...

Some how, I see menu itme for Forward but not for Forward as an
attachment? ( I have word as my default email editor)
-Create a new mail and drag & drop
It works just fine, but one is forced to resize main outlook window and
new email window in order to do drag and drop. Is it possible to drag
and drop without resizing?
-Create a new mail and choose Insert-> Item
Again I cant see item option within Insert
-Change the default FOrward handler in Tools-> Options-> E-mail Options...
Withn Tools --> Options --> Preferences --> email options I do see a
drop down box for "When forwarding a message" but this would cause all
my emails to be forwarded as attachments which Im not very keen about.

I think best for me would be to somehow get the Actions-> Forward as
Attachment working. I went to right click --> customize and see that
even the commands tab doesnt have this option

If you turn off Word as the editor, do the missing commands show up?

Oops, sorry, Actions-> Forward as attachment is only an option in Outlook
2007. Use one of the other methods instead ;-)
