Forum question ??

Can I and if so how do I create a Forum on my website ? I have one at the
moment hosted by Bravenet but Im not happy with it, I want members of our
society to be able to post messages direct to the site

very dependant on your host.

there are quite a few php / sql forums available eg
www.xmbforum.com

http://forums.oscommerce.com v Bulletin etc

if you have access to php and sql create a subweb and
install it in there, I even published my forum (after
expansion) initially using FP I now manage it using my host
control panel and regularly open "live" with FP and publish
back to my pc to maintain the current file amendments

Check out http://www.soopportal.org - its great...and free. It's ASP and Access or MS Sql.

The guys on the forum are very supportive and they have a host that will give you a deal hosting a soop portal (Stormhosts.com)...and they all hang out at the soop site.
