What is the formula for:
if data in a1 is the same as data in b2 then "7641" otherwise "7642"
 
If the return values are numeric use this function:

=IF(A1=B2,7641,7642)

Otherwise, use this function:

=IF(A1=B2,"7641","7642")
 
Thanks. If a1 and b2 are formulas would I need to copy and paste the values
into new columns?
