The below is my List of date effecting and the size code.
23/05/2007 1 X 20
28/05/2007 3 X 40
15/06/2007 3 X 40
15/06/2007 2 X 20
17/06/2007 1 X 20
18/06/2007 3 X 40
19/06/2007 4 X 20
20/06/2007 2 X 20
24/06/2007 6 X 20
27/06/2007 1 x 40

for which I am trying to get a formula to calculate the total rental
charges to pay as on today by adding the prices depending on no. of days
from effecting date. Both the Tables below are to be applied to find out the
total rent charges. If the above Dates are in column A & sizes are in B can I
get the total amount in C?
RENTAL CHARGES-

and I will send a sample solution.

Can you also provide answers to the following, assuming TODAY = 07/07/07, so
I can check my results:

23/05/2007 1 X 20
17/06/2007 1 X 20
27/06/2007 1 x 40

I believe some of your calculations are incorrect: check number of days in
the various ranges.
