I have successfully used {REF xxxx} to have text and dropdown menus repeated
throughout my document however, I would like the information repeated a 3rd
time further down in my document - how can I do this.

Just put another identical REF field there. You can have as many REF fields
as you like, all pointing to the same form fields.

I have been it doesn't seem to work - help. I have entered {REF dropdown2}
this text simply shows up - not what I am doing wrong.

Are you creating the fields using Ctrl+F9?

If you did use Ctrl+F9 to insert the field delimiters { }, then you will
need to use Alt+F9 to toggle off their display.
