Forms

I'd like to make a Web based form in FP 2003.

I can save information to the _private folder, but since my ISP is UNIX
based, I can't creat a database to be used with Access.

I've made this type of form before using only text feilds.

This time I have the usual; name, address, telephone, e-mail. However, I'd
like to have five multiple choice questions.

Can I do this with FP 2003 and capture the information properly?

And, if so, once I get the info into the file, is there a simple way to
import it into Acess or Excel, or does it require cutting and pasting?

If FrontPage forms are not the best way to do this, could you suggest
another simple approach?

Thanks.

Save the Data as text in a .txt file in tab delimited CSV format
- Then down load the file and rename it to .csv
- Access can import .csv data
(or you can open the file as .txt or .csv in Excel and then import the .xls version into Access)

Thanks, works like a charm, still have a little trouble with Japanese
characters, but with a a little fiddling aroud, I can get it to work. Is
there a way to set up the form or the text file so it works right the first
time? BTW, I've set all the form properties and page properties to Japanese
(Shift JIS). But it still seems like I'm missing something.....

Thanks again,

Jim

TBMK no
I believe your host needs the Japanese language pack installed for the FP SE if using the FP SE to send the form
