Forms with subforms

I have an order entry form consisting of a main form for basic order
information and a subform for details. In order to make the form as user
freindly as possible I want to be able to enter some data in the main form
followed by detail data in the subform then some further data in the main
form to finish. The problem I am having is that once the detail data has
been entered in the subform I cannot add further data to the remaining
controls on the main form and I don't understand why this is. Any help would
be appreciated.

Make sure the AllowEditing property of the form is set to Yes. If your form
only allows data entry, not editing, you'll need to enter everything in the
main form before moving to the subform.
