Forms in Password Protected Directory

Hi

I created a password protected sub-web in FrontPage 2003 for our members.
The access to this sub-web is controlled by and stored in our database,
which is appropriately set up in the Apache configuration file.
The problem is: When a user logs in into the sub-web and tries to use a form,
instead of confirmation page the user is asked for a password again, but in this case
the password that was used to log in into the sub-web does not work.
It works fine for me, since I am set up in both database and FrontPag

....any ideas how to solve this?? (Note: due to high volume it is impossible to set up all our users in FrontPage with an access

Thanks

Consider creating a database login system instead of using FP to set permissions on the subweb.

Why would that change?

1. Since the subweb is created by FP, then you will still have access to it the same as you would
your root web from FP.

2. Using a server-side script and database to manage restricted access to the content within the
subweb for users, will have no impact on your FP access to the folder.
