formatting

Im trying to format a harddrive that is formatted for
Mac. My computer recognizes it but it doesn't show up in
My Computer and Disk Management won't allow me to format
it. What should I do?
 
Install xp cd,boot from cd,recovery,type:DiskPart,
then,list disks.Hopefully youll get a letter,or name
for the disk.Then type:EXIT Then type:FORMAT D: /FS:ntfs
D: being hd letter,ntfs the file system.If worse comes
to worse,unplug the current hd,run Mac solo,enter the
same,select C: as the drive.Type:EXIT when thru,shut-
down,plug in hd,xp will change the hd letter auto.
