Formatting

I seem to be having a problem with formatting SRAM cards
under WIN XP. Everthing is fine but when I go to use them
in my aplication, problems pop up.
My application is running DOS 5.0. Does anyone know if
the XP format is backwards compatable to DOS. If it
isn't, is it documented somewhere?

Formatting an SRAM Card
Before using an SRAM card, you have to format it using
the DOS FORMAT command. Do the following:

Type the following:
FORMAT drive_letter:

(drive_letter is the actual drive letter.)

Press Enter.
