Anyone know of any third party tools that will allow me to format a 60GB
hard drive as FAT32? I know under W2K it can recognize FAT32 volumes that
large, but you can not format that large of a drive with W2K. NTFS is not a
option.

Thanks!

A Win9x startup disk can do this, or most any third party disk tools.

Thanks for the info, have used a Win98 boot, but @ 60 gigs it takes too
long. I'm trying to erase a proprietary file format and the quick option
won't do it. Was hoping there might be a better utility out there that would
format a drive quickly.

Do it when you are about to go to bed.
