Hello all,
I am having trouble figuring out using multiple justifications within a
single line of text in Word 2003. My specific problem that I am working
on, is that I am using a template: Avery 5199, Which just creates a
table/template of horizontal boxes on the page. This template is for
the spine labels on VHS tapes. I have 3 fields of data which I would
like to enter on each line: a Date (left justified,) a Title
(Centered,) and a Time (right justified.) The F1 Help feature mentions
a topic "Vary alignment within a single line of text" by getting a
justification icon to appear as your mouse cursor, but that does not
work within this template I am using. I tried using "Justification" to
spread out the 3 items, but that does not work either. Ideally, I would
like to set this up so that each time I pull up the document, I can go
through and change the dates and times and titles and the justification
stays there, because I am making several recordings a day which I need
to label. I can use spaces and the "center" justification setting to
get vaguely uniform results, but it is very time consuming and the
tapes on the shelf next to each other look goofy with the text kind of
floating about. There must be a way to standardize the justification
among all the labels. I would love to hear any advice on this subject.
