I would like to create a text box on a web page with various different text
formats including hyperlinks to other pages. However if I use text box with
scrolling the formatting seems to not work. Has anyone got any advice?

Use a IFrame.

Hi Thomas.
Happy Easter, glad to know I'm not the only one working this easter.

Thanks for your answer but I have gone to the page options and ticked the
frames box but only get the following menu option showing: OPEN PAGE IN NEW
WINDOW.
However will I still get the scrolling text box look if I use a frame and
will I still be able to incorparate multiple text formats?

If using FP2002 or FP2003 look for the IFrame under the Insert Menu. You would then create page of
content that you would load into the IFrame.

Further to my previous post I have discovered the method of introducing
frames into my project but could explain if it is possible to have a single
graphic displayed under more than one frame? i.e. an A4 sized picture
underneath four frames that make up an A4 web page?

No.

There is no such thing as an A4 web page. A web page is as big (or
small) as the browser window it is displayed in. The content of a web
page can be restricted (to some extent) to a portion of the page.
Graphics in a web page are measured in pixels. A4 is meaningless when
referring to a PC screen - it only has meaning when referring to piece
of paper.

When using frames, the graphic cannot be easily split between the
frames.

Hi Ronx
Only used A4 as a way of explaining size of the background of all frame
sizes together on a single page. But I have got a perfect solution now
anyway thanks to Thomas's idea of using frames.

Mr Thomas,
That has got to be the longest answer to a question I have seen but I have
found a solution thanks to your idea of using frames.

Thanks

Actually, it could be longer, if I drop the period! <vbg>
