Formatting telephone numbers

I am trying to input phone numbers and mobile telephone numbers onto access
but they keep being reformatted as currency. What can I do?

Exactly where are you trying to format them? Keep in mind that Access
does not change the way it saves data when you format it. Access only
displays it that way in the specific form, report or query where you put the
format information.
