Formatting problem with linked files

I have 2 worksheets linked. The text changes on the 2nd
file when I change the first, but if I change the color
of the text, it doesn't update. Any ideas?

can't be done with formulas / links as formulas only return values
 
Hi,

Formatting isn't part of the linking - values only,
I believe. You'd have to have a macro to keep colors
in sync.

AFAIK no. Even using an event macro won't help as this isn't trigerred
by a change of formats
