Formatting phone number

How can I set up my table to automatically insert an area code like 660 in
the phone field? When I type in the phone number, I am given (66_) ___-____.
The program doesn't seem to recognize that I want the zero as well as the
sixes.

Set the default value to "660" ??

Thank you, that worked. But, how do I force it to fill in after the area
code (when I tab into the phone number field, the area code is highlighted
and whatever I type replaces it).
