FORMATTING MARK

There is a formatting mark that looks like a paragraph mark except the half
circle at the top left portion of the mark is not filled in. The 2 legs of
the paragraph mark usually don't have "feet" pointing left and right, and
this mark does. What does it mean?

Probably it's just that the paragraph mark is formatted in a different font.
Some of them are "fancy".
