How do I do this?

- The Disk Manager in XP cannot format above 32GB partitions

- Ranish and other programs can, but they boot from CD/floppy
and then they con't see the external disk as it is on USB...

The internal SATA controller on my Asus P4PE also need drivers so I'm
not sure if it's visible if I hook it up there instead (disconnecting
my old drive) just to format it - and then move it can to the external
case again :-)

Or is there a program that can partition/format FAT32 from inside XP?

Search using Google!

Format larger than 32GB FAT32 within Windows XP with this utility:

Know that you will be stuck with FAT32 limitations otherwise, however.
With different OSes being able to read and even write to NTFS - FAT32 has
lost its sheen for me and I highly recommend using NTFS.
