Formatting disappeared

Over the weekend, all of the formatting on all of my Word documents
disappeared. When I type a new document, everything seems fine, but once I
turn the computer off, the formatting on it disappears as well. I can save
it to a disk, and it will keep the formatting on the disk when I take it to a
different computer, but when I put the disk back in this computer, it shows
no formatting.
