Formatting changes when filled in

Is there any way to prevent the formatting from shifting right (adding new
lines, etc.) when a protected form is filled in?

Jerry, I'm not following you.

What do you mean by "formating shifting right"?

Is this a datasheet or form view? Is the form too big for the window or something?
